Request Toolkit Disclaimer
It is important that you are aware of the following items before requesting the Toolkit:
- The University Web Standard is currently only supported using Dreamweaver 8 - not Frontpage.
- Websites using the University Web Standard should be hosted on the Info Web Server. This is due to the use of SSIs for university branding. If another server will be hosting your site, please contact Dawn Truelsen for additional information.
- Training is strongly advised and available through Technology Training. Specifically "University Web Standard I: Site Creation" and "University Web Standard I: CSS Styling" are very important.
- The University Web Standard is a complete site architecture. No individual elements can be simply added to older websites. A site must be build from the ground-up based on this standard.
- The Toolkit will only be distributed to people with a csufresno.edu email account. If you are an outside contractor, please email the listserv to arrange to receive the Toolkit.
- NOTE TO STUDENT ASSISTANTS: You must have at least 4.5 MB of space available on your student email account to receive this Toolkit. If you don't, the message will bounce. I will do my best to track you down, but if you're over quota, there are no guarantees you will receive the Toolkit.
